So I've got this idea for a WoD chronicle burning a hole in my skull. Was wondering if anybody might be interested in playing. It would be a sideline to the usual D&D game and thus somewhat sporadic.
The basic setup would be a small group of humans investigating a spate of murders with some odd occult connections. More info to follow if anybody has an interest. Various WoD lines would end up involved with possibilities for characters to become more than just human.

Here's the setup btw:
Welcome to Kelowna, BC in the World of Darkness. Capital of the Southern Interior. Sin City North. A city of 1.5 million located in the picturesque Okanagan Valley. It's a tourist magnet with resorts galore, some of the best Wine Country on the planet, a very active nightlife and the Native-owned Casinos on the Westside. It's also a major agribusiness hub, feeding the vinyards and orchards that made the Okanagan famous,a nd providing the infrastructure necessary to process and ship their output. Logging is also a major industry, with several major sawmills in the area and major transportation infrastructure to handle their output. And on the other side of the law, Kelowna is a major source of marijuana and designer drugs to the US West Coast and Eastern Canada, as well as being the main transhipment point for drugs headed to Eastern Canada from Central and Southern America. But Kelowna has been relatively peaceful, the criminal underside knows where its bread is buttered and doesn't hassle the tourists and keeps to the bad side of the tracks for the most part.
But all that has changed in the last two weeks. A series of brutal murders has shocked the populace, the tourism industry and the balance of power between the criminal organizations and the authorities. Yet the Authorities seem only willing to talk about solving these brutal crimes. Somehow no real action seems to take place. And other events appear ready to up the ante. The Steel Dragons, Kelowna's local biker gang and of previously minor note, is about to patch over to Los Brujas, a powerful US and Mexican gang known for its connections to the drug trade, all sorts of smuggling (especially of weapons and people) and a tendency towards brutal violence. The Hells Angels and Rock Machine finally find themselves agreeing on something, that this cannot be allowed to stand, the Dragons would be Los Brujas' first Canadian Chapter, and are located in a key node of the drug trade. Over 20 Los Brujas are in town already, and more are expected to arrive shortly.
Rumours are rife about these murders. With tales of corpses being found dismembered, even ripped apart. And the murders are all connected to the tourism industry in some fashion. A popular DJ on the Club Strip, the owner of a native souvenir shop at one of the Casino resorts, an up and coming local singer/songwriter, a newlywed couple spending their honeymoon at a famous local resort, a trio of businessmen in town for a conference at a conference centre and at least two club kids. And the bodycount is mounting every couple of days. The unwritten covenant between the Law and the Outlaw has been broken. Kelowna's tourists have been attacked. Already tourism is down, as visitors leave early and others cancel their plans to visit. But why are the local police so obviously doing nothing, why does the Mayor mouth platitudes? And is the tourism industry the real target of these murders or is there something more sinister at work here? Or is it even more simply a rampage by a notoriously violent biker gang looking to make their entrance to Canada with a real splash...of violence.
